still stock motor and not fully dialed in yet. we were having an issue with the turbo mounting bolts backing out, but that's all fixed now. I'll be up there the 17th finishing tuning the car on a full 22 psi.
I'll also have my new clutch in and my new meth kit installed the day before (going to put a lot of miles on it that day lol) and I'll be hitting the dyno too and trying to dial my car back in since it's been months since I last tuned it. also shooting for 23-24 psi on meth and should hit @430-440whp if all goes well

as long as you know what to get and spend the money in the right places, building your own kit really isn't that hard. My first setup I did for the cheap and only spent @$1300 and made 365whp. My new setup cost money though lol.
As for the foglights, I had to get rid of mine too to fit the charge piping and the massive FMIC I have in the car. And turbo is the way to go on these cars. My first setup just about completely untuned put down 326whp 297wtq @18psi. Tuned at 21psi it made 365whp and now with the new turbo it should be up @430-440whp @23psi.

Does that $1300 include the fuel system upgrades too? I remember you having a walbro, with or without converting to return-style?

Nice.

But take those blue couplers off and replace them with some black or red ones!

no that was on 60's and stock fuel pump.
not running a return line even still on the car, switched to a walbro high pressure and 79lb/hr injectors... no probs.
He's running the same fuel system

Paul, why aren't you using the extra 4 injectors for the hahn manifold? Wouldn't that

1. Make it possible to leave the flow rate modifier alone

2. Lower your maf calibration numbers

?

I"m pretty sure I have a list somewhere. but here it is off the top of my head:
Ebay turbo (cx racing or something) @$250
ebay intercooler @$60
Ebay piping kit usually comes with t-bolts and couplers (cut and make it fit lol) $125 (need 2 one 2.5" one 3")
Some 3" ss mandrel bends for the exhaust @$65
Vulcan turbo mani $325 or sp
79lb/hr injectors $315 shipped
Tial 38mm wastegate $229
greddy type rs bov $85 or so
Turbosmart MBC $120
ebay oil line kit @$80
fiitting for oil feed you can get from hahn or turbotech
and that's pretty much it.

no money at the moment to run a complete seperate fuel system and buy the computer, plus I have it running perfectly for my power levels at the moment on the 79's and the walbro pump
as for the maf I'm only hitting 10400 right now at redline and 22 psi. so I still have some room to play. Once the built motor is finally done (god knows when) I'll be hooking up that other rail and run a set of 60's in there for top end fueling.
But the car idle's and drives like stock with the 79lb/hr injectors, so why mess with it now.

some 3" stainless piping, basically a long 3" bend and had some flanges cut to match the tb and the s/c base
