A low angle shot of the front bumper on an SS would be great. I want a good look at that grille as one of the most recent pictures has an grille with ugly horizontal lines where I thought that I saw a pic with a criss-cross pattern which looked great. Also, if there is an SS with Recaros, it would be nice to get a couple good shots of the interior, especially a shot of the side door, and a clear shot of the back seat. Also, could you take a good shot of the trunk please, especially that back right corner, directly opposite the other sub. I am hoping that it is a mirror of the left side so that I can fabricate a second sub enclosure and have it look the same.

Thanks.

Archplsm if you get this in time, steal the car, take it to a track and take a picture of the 1/4 mile time you post.

Thank you for your time.

AAAAAGH, I am so pissed at Chevy after going to the show tonight; I don't even know where to start.

Ok, I walk through it....... Went to the show because I knew they have an SS/sc there. So first thing I do is co to the Chevy display and there is the Cobalt SS/sc on the rotating table. I asked if they had on that people could get into and they said the only one they had there was the one on the table. OK, a little irritating. BUT, to top that it was w proto type car I sat there looking at it a saw all the incorrect part on it.
1. Missing the SS badge on the driver side door
2. The SS badge was set high on the door
3. The wrong taillights
4. The wrong intercooler
5. All scratched from loading and unloading the car from the haler (and I mean scratch down to the body panel or other wise gouged)
6. The wrong side skirts
7. The wrong seats
8. The wrong dashboard
9. The antenna on the wrong side
10. The wrong tires
11. The wrong exhaust tip

And on top of this they were not allowed to even open the hood or trunk up.

I mean what the hell is Chevy doing wasting peoples time with this hunk of crap. Cincinnati is a city of 400,000+ and we have as large Chevy ownership here in town (16 dealers in town). AND Chevy couldn't even bring one car to the show that would be close to what is going to be produced Grant it Cincinnati seems to always get the shaft on one thing or another, but this close to the factory (we had reps from all the Ohio Chevy factories at the show in a display) an in a town with such a Chevy following????? All I can say is:

F you too Chevy!!!

Hell they didn't even have a Monti Carlo or Impala at the show. At least Saturn had a Redline there and Dodge had a SRT 4 there. I found most of my time spent at Mercedes, Lexus, BMW, and Porsche (got to sit in a 911 C3, mmmmmmm) Yes I would have love to have been in a 911 twin turbo but the C3 was nice enough. I guess after the Cobalt I'll just have to go to a foreign car manufacturer to get my next car. At least they can show me what I would be buying. This whole thing pissed me off so much I was kick myself in the As* all the way out of the show for not getting the IS300 that I was originally going to get.

Well any ways I said I would get some pics from the show. Well I will not waist anyone’s time on the SS/sc pics, but I do have pic of a modified sedan with the SS package on it, different tail lights, rims, and a 2.0 SS/sc engine in it. I hope to have these posted tomorrow or Sunday.

Jonel, I might be searching you out next weekend to go to the Cleveland show, maybe Chevy can have something there that is worth my time.

Meanwhile.....

Same way at the DC auto show. You could sit in just about ever car except the Cobalt SS.

Well all those other cars have hit the streets already, its possible that they simply didnt have one produced yet for people to sit in.....From the sound of it there were many things wrong with the one you saw, so im sure they wouldn't want people to get their final impression of a car that wasn't a good representation of the actual production car......

That makes the sedan look 300x better than stock IMO. I hate the rear of the sedans normally, but if people converted the back of the sedans to that, it would look hot. Even without that spoiler and with the normal red circular lights as found on the coupe would look better than the crap rear lights they have now.

Aren't those wheels shown in the newest Cobalt catalog as a dealer upgrade option that will be coming out soon? There is just a partial pic in the catalog but I think they look similar.

I can't give any info regarding the brakes or the rims..... all the chevy people at the show were pretty much idiots and didn't know anything, but this is to be expected they are only show personel
