nothing has changed in form of placement, header(s) from all other manufacturers will work fine, so will the dp, the catback, the intake, the mounts, etc, my recommendation

KnN intake/injen intake
Vibrant header/dp
bolra exhaust

now that is a american made exhaust combo made in heaven

p.s. if you cant afford or dont want to save for a vibrant, you can get the CAv1 header, than get the Xtc dp later, but be warned, i have yet to see a header and dp for the balt match the quality of vibrants(although i havent seen vulcans turbo set up yet, i know they make nice ****)

originaladrian Comment above

Also Megan is not USA made, but china...

I will say it is better than most China made exhaust, but is not up to the same quality and backing of magnaflow.

I'm new to this site, but to answer your question I have an Injen CAI with a Magnaflow CAT and it sounds superb and mellow, yet agressive at higher RPM for a N/A setup. Magnaflow is great quality, plus if you have an LS which I'm assuming it fits nicely with the stock bumper. I for one ordered the DC Sport CAT (but switched brand due to shipping issues with the distributor and company itself) and it comes with the 4" tip and the Magnaflow with a 3 1/2, the Magnaflow fits nicely into the stock exaust hole in the bumper with a good amount but not excessive space in between the tip and bumper. You don't want burning paint and plastic haha. With the 4" tip you would for sure be touching the bumper, plus potentially have a ricey sound being the company aims for more import platforms. Hope this helps.
