Car Show In Myrtle Beach, Sc

The 18th annual Run to the Sun car and truck show will be held in Myrtle Beach, SC March 16-18. This is one heck of an autoshow. If anybody is anywhere close I would recommend coming to this show;i t's extremely large. People come from all over the states and Canada to participate. For additional information or the exact location, post a reply or PM me.

Hey i'm in Fayetteville, NC. How long of a drive are we talking about here? I leave for some training on the 20th and there is NO car scene out here to speak of. I'd like to go to show again.

I bet you can get there in ~ 1.5 hours, depending on how fast you drive.

Exclamation I Promise it's worth at 2 hour drive or even 2.5

This is one really really large car show. I haven't been able to attend the past 2 years or 3years and it gets bigger every year. This year it will be held at the Waccamaw Factory Outlet Stores. If you can get to Conway and just take Hwy 501 to Myrtle Beach the Factory Outlet Stores will be on your left before you get to MB. I'm sure if you stop in at any store anywhere nearby, they can tell you exactly how to get there. This is by far an extremely large event that you should attend at least once if possible. You'll wanna take several hundred photos, so bring the digital camera.

Remember I am talking about people coming from all over the states and from Canada just to put their cars/trucks in this show.

Exclamation New/More Details/Information

Hey Guys/Gals,

My girlfriend sent me a link to a local car club that will be getting together for the show. Here is a link to there site that has more information on the event and there are contact numbers and such for more information at the bottom of the page. I hope this helps. I couldn't find anything else on the internet.

Oh, for kickers, last year they had over 2,500 cars!!!! A real must see car show, hope anybody anywhere relatively close can make it.

Exclamation Just Making Sure

I just wanted to make sure everyone has had a chance to see this thread. The weather should be really great this weekend. Clear and temp in the 60's. I strongly encourage anyone anywhere close with a free day to come check out all of the cars. Spectator admission is likely to still be free, I'm not positive. It's well worth a day trip to Myrtle Beach; an event you will cherish 'til you die. Any other questions or anything else I can do to help, just PM me.
