What are you AZ people doing this weekend?

My wrx buddy and I may go out to speed world this weekend, he wants to run his car to get some times. Just thought maybe some of you guys may be of some interest. I wouldnt mind seeing some SSs out there myself. We most probally are going to go out Saturday night, and NOPI on Sunday. So you guys are all welcome to come if you have nothing else better to do...

326whp at 12lbs on my street setup. I cranked it up to 23lbs a while back, so it must have been close to, or over 500hp! I haven't run it yet at the track, unfortunately.

HIN for me imo totally SUCKS ... sure there are some cool bike and drift stunts and of course who can really ignore the chance to see 90% naked asian chicks. But honestly it has to be one of the most boring of boring car shows when it comes to the valley. Noone cheers for the riders when they are doing stunts and everyoone there looks like they are going to pull a jihad on your ass if you think their car has tipped the scale for rice points. The booths there blast their music too loud and you cant hear anyone talk because they have to compete with the music playing from the fat stage girls doing a wet t-shirt contest.

So having said that the only good reason to go would be for the nearly naked asian chicks and the remote chance that the girls doing the wet t shirt contest will weigh less than 200 pounds.

that much hp on only 12 lbs of boost seems a little high..Are you sure YOU'RE NOT?

326whp on 12lbs BS? Hows that? I don't get it... We are talking about a fully built V6 here.
You asked, so I told you. Its not like I came on here bragging about it. You want dyno sheets, then fine. I have plenty of them, and so do others with a similar setup.
Nice way to push away some potential friends in the car modding world, especially since I have a close friend with an 06 SS/SC. That's why I'm on here...

i hope you're talking to the other critic, not me. i wasn't doggin your car. You must of done some good amount of modding to that engine to get that much power on that amount of boost. I'm not saying your lying. It's a tiny V6. It's not like it's the 4.2L, where it would be more believable without showing proof.

First thing, I don't appreciate this crap the least bit, whether it be *******, or something more on the mild side of rude questioning. If I came on here spouting off about my damn car, then I would expect it. Of course I have not done that.
Secondly, I will post my dyno sheet on here, and will then consider not posting here in future, or even on the behalf of my friend with the SS...

Thank you,
Greg

If you want to see some info on the car, go to www.arizonadynochip.com. The car in the photos is mine.

IonNinja, if you wish to chime in here at some point please do. I'm sure you're familiar with this...

Thanks,

Greg

Looks like a nice place. Cool to see them have svtf chips. i couldn't find your car though. Waaaaiiitt a minute! I got my V6 mustang tuned one time at this shop in Mesa, and a guy with a turbo svtc drove up. I think it was silver. Is this you?

Could have been yes. The pics of the setup are under the "turbo kits" link.

actually guys, 326whp is NOT out of the question at all for a turbo'd SVT. These things turn into little monsters with the AZ dyno chip kit. You guys speak of 12lbs of boost like its nothing, thats plenty of boost to make good power out of a built 2.5L V6 (or are you 3L?).

I'm sure you've got a tough time hookin up with 325whp, I couldn't imagine that car at 23psi...it'd probably spin em through 4th

you guys should check out http://www.contour.org/ubbthreads/ubbthreads.php and look in the FI forum and dyno and drag forums. There are some SVTC's putting down ridiculous numbers. Theres even an NA SVT running 9:1 compression that pulled a 13.4 1/4. When modded right, these cars are not to be taken lightly.

Thank you ninja! Finally someone that actually knows these cars can vouch for them.

And yes I live in Tucson, but am up there in the Phx area nearly every weekend for the past few years. The shop is no longer in Mesa, but in Chandler now.

This is 12lbs on a built 2.5L. A 3.0 with the same setup at 10lbs puts down about the same numbers.

I am chill about the whole thing. And again, I was asked, so I politely responded. Thats all! Call it BS if you want, but the info and proof is out there, and its been done, and done again with the same results.

Look for it at a track near you, by the way...

Greg
