HeadGames ported throttle body dyno results!

Took my SS over to Impo Performance in Warminster, PA to do a before and after dyno comparison of my hand ported by HeadGames Motorworks throttle body. The ported throttle body was already on my car, and my on board butt dyno told me there was some gain..so we dyno'd that first. We did 2 pulls with each, stock and ported and used the Lambda meter to make sure A/F was consistent on every pull(11.3-11.7AFR. The gains were impressive!

To give a review of what we did(was already posted in the general forum)

We started with this...

My little sister Tiffani works at HeadGames..so I gave her the throttle body to port.

She sanded it...

Semi-finished product..( the throttle blade was loosely fitted for the pic)

And the end result...

its hard to see the lines on my computer hope they are more visible on yours.(move your head around..maybe you'll see the shadow!lol) the gains were 6.4 peak whp and if you can see the graph, in the hp band there is a continuous gain of up to 20whp and that is where you feel the real gain, in the acceleration. many have asked for dyno proof and there it is. if the lines are too light i will try to scan them on another scanner or trace them with a pen. But they should be noticeable enough.

Impressive gains... But did you dyno with the ported TB first and then swapped it out and dynoed on the stock one without it cooling down?

Looks like there was 1/2 hr in between pulls. Plenty of cool down time.

Not really, these cars heatsoak like a bitch after a hard dyno pull or two. I think that might be more of what we are seeing here, but its really hard to say.

Either way, if there is that much of a gain, this is a great mod for almost anyone, it has basically no drawback and gains power across the board.

sorry for the lateness, to answer all questions,1st my mods are stage2 w/2.99 pulley, dual pass H/E, 3" intake, v2 header, 2.5'' exhst, 3" downpipe and the tb.
2nd first was the ported tb then the stock both runs were done at 160degrees motor temp for consistency and AITs were within 7 degrees
