Im not saying they are right in their belief, Im simply saying that until we know the facts behind their beliefs, we cannot pass judgment on their beliefs. I was only using examples, I dont know why they believe what they believe, I dont even claim that my examples are strong, I was simply giving examples. individual people painted jesus as white. it's become ignorant common knowlege that he is white. I put a couple seconds of thought into it a couple years ago and realized he probably looked more like Osama Bin Laden than Johnny Depp. I have no problems accepting that. Because a true believer knows him and it's irrelevant what his skin color was.

Maybe they should be, but to dismiss without principle is simply prejudice. It is dismissal on the grounds that you dont agree with what they are saying, you think they are crazy. Well thats great for you but they think you are crazy so they are going to dismiss your opinion. No opinion holds value over another opinion, unless the opinion is rooted in accepted scientific fact, but then it is no longer an opinion it is fact. So your opinion that these guys are crazy is no more or less valid than their opinion that the white man is the devil. Again why I say, dont scoff, attempt to understand. Maybe if you try to understand why these people think the white man is the devil, you will have an easier time explaining why the white man is not the devil. Or you will come to believe it, who knows.

And sorry, the you I am referring to is not you Roadrage, just the common use of the word you.

ugh.. you completely missed any point Ive been trying to make. Claiming a person is crazy because he is screaming on the street corner is fine, you can have your opinion. But to claim that that persons beliefs are crazy because of the venue they choose to exhibit them is wrong, you need to understand the beliefs before you can make an educated statement about them.
