Stage Kits

Ok..

Now that the kits are out in stock... I think we should seriously considering all doing one thing so we can get a decent prices.. For those of us who are ready to get the KIT ASAP..

Now, that doesn't matter if it means we take a trip in the US.. So we could do 2 options with that.. We can bring that back with us and pay whatever duty we may get coming back... Or we can talk to some dealers around and see what they would be willing to offer if you buy so and so many kits...

Now we need to know who is seriously in on this.. And who has the $1000/$1500 (or Credit Card) available to get the stage kits (less depending on kit you want)... If your interested, but don't plan on doing it now or soon then don't bother.. If you don't have the money to get the kit anytime soon (or now) then dont bother..

Not trying to be sound rude about that.. But it really doesnt help/benefit to say yes I want one, but not planning on gettin one for a year.. It just sorta makes a big list of people and only half of them are getting the kit now..

So if we can figure out how to get these kits at the best possible price/way then lets do it up.. I will call some dealers around my area to see what they are say... Then come back and let you know what they will sell the kits for.. Who knows maybe the more peple we get, the lower they may offer them for..

Also do you think it would be better to get an intake and exhuast (etc) before you reflash the computer.. So that is recongizes the change.. Or do you think that the program only programs what GM's kit is suppose to change..?

Ok..

#2 - If you don't wanna read another stage kit thread, then why bother clicking it.. the titles says it all.. If you don't like it, then dont look.. Plain and simple. Man people like you are sorta annoying.. You hate something, but you still look, then when you look at the thing you hated already, you make a stupid comment.

#3 - If you have not noticed, the stages kits ARE out and being shipped.. So umm if your gonna say something about "omg, not another stage thread", then sorry but that would should be pointed in the direction of all the threads asking when they are coming out, or how long its gonna be, or he says this she says that dealer convos, prices from everyone, etc.. If you notice.. My post is about getting a better price on a part that is now availble.. It's a group purchase.. So your comment not only wasnt needed.. It also doesn't even make sense to say..

So if you have nothing to contribute or nice to say.. Then I suggest your stop poking into thread you know your gonna make an idiotic post in.

You sure about that? I just got off the phone w/ Kevin at GM HQ. He is the GMPP manager. He said they are not yet realesed.

Also just got of the phone w/ Golden Mile in Scarborough. An OCC sponsor.Price is $1025.00 + tax and install. I think if we get 4-5 guys together that will drop a little.Maybe get them to eat the tax?

That MUST be Corby

Listen I'm in for any ideas you guys have. I have the Cash inhand and have every intention of purchasing it asap. Unless the install is gang rape then I think $1025 is a very good deal.

Please keep me updated...

Ok.. not sure.. That is the word that the kits are out and apprently some other people have put orders in. But again I cant be 100% sure either.. Now I think $1025 is a good deal as well.. I don't mind paying that..

The other problem is. I just called 2 different dealers around here.. They both told me the kit would kill the warrenty on the engine if the motor was to have internal problems.. Now I am not sayin the kit itself isn't under any kind of warrenty. But I was told that if any motorwise happens that they will not cover the warrenty..

Now Corby.. Since you know a manger for GMPP maybe you can find out the information a little better.

I placed an order for STG II whilst pickin up the catback and header from OMS, no questions asked other then "when would you like to have it installed?" My sales guy and service rep are pretty excited about it, I think thats pretty cool.

Guess I'll wait and see.

Hmmm,so the dealership, the assistant zone parts manager, his boss the zone parts manager, and the GMPP manager are all lying?

I`m glad you showed up to set all those guys straight,or I may have gotten screwed.

actually there are many dealerships that will retaain your warrenty if you get Them to install a GMPP, and that's what is most important. if the dealer ship will call it warrenty work then your ok, regardless of weather or not GM does.

which is why everyone tries to find a good dealer with service managers that don't mind mods

First page hey?.............hmmmmmmm.........(reading)...I can't seem to see that anywhere. It does state that the engines are covered by a full year warranty......(reading)..........nope.......nothin g like that on the numerous "first" pages I just read.

I got prices for the stage kits from Fuccillo Chevrolet in Grand Island New York. These are list prices so if someone wants to go ahead and call them to work out a group buy you can go ahead.

Stage 1 = $500
Stage 2 = $750

Call them if you want. (716) 773-7505

I am going to buy Stage 1 today!

Let me know what's up with it, but you are the closest and cheapest as of yet. When can we get these installed? I have the $$ and want it ASAP.
