It has been about 2 months since the beginning when we've started to gather up the area. So far it has been a booming success. As the gatherings happen nearly every weekend, we get more and more. Cobalts have been arriving from Fairfax County to the locals of Warrenton and Stafford County.

Lol is that a joke? I put together/hosted that meet for christ's sake

So yes, my car was there the whole day. I was the first one there (yel-low and I) and one of the last to leave. It was the only white 2.4SS there. Lowered, wingless, black/polished lip 19"s, ARK N2 cat-back, tinted tailights, tags read "OSSHWA".....ringing any bells?

If you go look at the meet thread at the pics people put up, my car is in aloooot of the pics.

Gee thanks haha. You should have felt my car that day. It was smoother than glass thanks to extensive claybarring/waxing the day before.

And yeah, you heard right. I've hosted tons of VA meets and pretty much know most everyone in VA that's on .net, so they were talking about making me the VA chapter president.

Well, I was thinking of night time. Meeting up at about 8-9pm. That way we're not burning our asses off. Im in the same boat as you are, sexy ss. Besides, I was thinking about weekends.

If you do become in charge of VA, you know you'd have half a dozen cobalts already

As Jenn already said, the Chic-Fil-a in Sterling/Dulles is the place to be on Fri/Sat nights for cars. On a nice night, its not surprising to see 150-200 cars, ranging from boosted 350Zs to exotics to decked out EVOs to built muscle cars. Pretty much a little bit of everything for everyone.

Yeah, which I have to pay to get re-painted now b/c where the bumper flexed, the clearcoat split.....and will gradually begin to peel away now......

Yep. I pretty much know most all of the Cobalt owners in VA. I hosted the Fairfax, Winchester and Fredericksburg meets last year, co-hosted the Dulles meet, and even went down to spend a weekend with all the VA Beach Cobalt guys last year, and pretty much know all the Northern VA guys.......so its safe to say I have a good hold on the VA guys, lol.

I remember your car at the meet now. You had the silver 2.4SS sedan w/ the ARK sticker on the back. I'm surprised you didn't heed more notice to my car, being as its one of the most award winning 2.4SS's out there (CobaltSS.net July 2008 COTM, PFYC.com July 2008 COTM, Turbowax Winter 2008 Photo Submission Contest Winner, and was featured in Tuner Maneuver online car magazine this April). Most 2.4 guys recognize my car instantly.

At the time I stayed around the NC's guys' cars. I just completely forgot that your balt was the one with the oshwa plate. Btw, you missed one hell of a ride with the NC crew. 12 of us ran from fburg into maryland picking up more and more along the way. The g8, srt-4, etc. A bunch of nice people. Oh yeah, all of which had a heavy foot. Its a wonder no one was pulled over for noise violations and excessive speeding

Eh, its all good. I rode up with 35+ cars the next day to the College Park Tuning meet via the GMU caravan. Everything from widebodied Supras, to boosted Civic hatchbacks to hooked up G35s, etc etc.....
