straight pipes anyone??

hey im thinking about punching the cat and either an electric cut-out or a straight pipe to replace the muffler. dose anyone have any sound clips or any thing. yhea i know it will be loud and illegal and probably get pulled over a couple times but im use to it by now. i just want it to be insanely loud. i just dont realy want to spend alot on an exaust when stock is a fairly decent set up i just want to hear the car when im ripping through the gears.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=syplDmTbPTs this is a sound clip of my old car 2000 cavy z24 ive got pulled over quite a few times but i loved the racket it made

Id go with a cutout. Quiet when you want it, then loud with the push of a button. And in my opinion sounds pretty good when its open (depending one placement)

what it will sound like with a straight pipe WITH a cat!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Lol i only had it like this for a day before i got new exhaust. Also my car only had the stage 1 tune on it in this vid from like 2 years ago, lol. Oh BTW in this Vid the vq35 swapped spec-v got walked by me once i got HTPuned and pullied down to a 2.85" setup. Check his other vids out, lol....I hated seeing all the haters say shit about my car, but the exhaust was awful.

Well mine is at the very beggining of the catback, but thats only because I dont have a resonator and I didnt want to cut into my vibrant downpipe. It sounds good though. Most guys put them on the downward slope of the downpipe so there arent clerance issues, so that is where I would try to put it. I havent heard a sound clip of that though

i have the gmpp exhaust with a cat delete and it sounds nasty to me. Just idleing and normal driving not to loud, but when you get on it you can sure hear it.
