Its not the intake. To be honest its probably pulling in much more air than that gm stage 2 tune is wanting to see and your cars like. WHAT THE FUCK.

Get a real tune and it'll be a different ball game.

BTW

your interceptor reads you the CRANK horse. thats why it says 270ish.

and like other people have said. the stage two tune is not made to be compatible for your intake. that's why so many people say canned tunes are shit. get a real tune from a company such as Trifecta or HPT, both of which can do data logging and optimize the tune for your car.

The thing I dont understand is that he greatly improved his performance with just an intake and hes stock. Before I could get like 2.5 cars on him. Its like if adding an intake for me with the stage 2 doesnt do anything or worsen thing. My injectors are maybe maxed out with those 42 lbs...

No they're not. You won't max out your IDC on a 2.9. Your probably running extremely rich, 9's etc.

Get a custom tune.

Wow guys!!!! I just did a pull tonight against the SAME car than me, so he has a stage 2 and intake but instead of having a Rebel Auto Worx intake, he has an Injen one. It is a 07 like me too... same color than me (black) except without the stripes lol

Guess what... dead even! So my car should be normal... damn his car has something special in it, some vitamins!! He's maybe tuned but damn, hes not the kind of a liar friend, this is maybe his strongest secret!

bro how high in mph did you go?? Lol 25 can have alot of factors considering that you went from 1st gear or 2nd gear..... Makes sense say if you were in 2nd and he was in first considering 1st gear goes to 29 to 30 mph he will have an advantage..

40 mph is the spot for stage 2 over a stock car.... 2nd gear pull and go up to 100 with him... Youll see that you will only pull 2 to 3 cars on him....

People that are saying stupid shit like 5-6 cars your buddy couldnt drive simple as that.... My friend got stage 2 before me and only pulled about 3 cars on me up to 120 mph....

No no this was only from the second gear. We tried against each other again tonight and with the 2nd gear, even if we start at 20-30-40 mph, hes always SO near me. I cant get more than one car on him at the end of third.

We tried another thing also. I added one passenger in my car (180 pounds). Its almost dead even from 40 to 110 then in 4th gear, HE GET ON ME sligthly and succeed to pass my by about half a car!
