Mitsubishi Evo forums thoughts on the SS/TC

http://forums.evolutionm.net/other-c...-vs-evo-x.html

I bumped the thread just today with my thoughts on the SS. Safe to say, I'm in the minority over there...

There's the category that it's in. Should be the first or second discussed topic.

What I find amusing is the complaint about the same comparison being posted over and over when there's the typical dummies over there using the "It's just a Cobalt argument". At least a few of them have their heads on straight but until they get ruined (which with equal driver skill is not a far fetched statement) they'll never believe stock for stock the TC and Evo are very comparable on a road course, no questions asked .

I can't wait to drive my "Cobalt" with modded suspension, engine and SS badges after work...what a hypocritical statement that was .

Can you tell non of them have driven the TC around a track before? I hate to rain on their parade but the for the money the TC Cobalt is a far superior car to the EVO X and the Ralliart.

Gentlemen

I bought and raced a 03 Evo8 in Open Road Racing. I liked it. I bought and now race a 08 SSTC in Open road racing. I like it even better. The SSTC has less unsprung weight. The Evo has AWD. Both are exceptional cars. I would rate them tied as high speed racers. The SSTC costs far less which gives it the win in my book, hands down.
