The 4-2-1 header is made with a 2 1/2" final collector only. Larger will result in a velocity drop and defeat the purpose of the 4-2-1 design. If you want a 3" collector, you will need to go with our 4-1 header.

Thanks.

dan, do you know where i can find a 3 inch collector for it? the exit on the ball and socket is only 2.25. this is simply not enough for my setup. i am looking for a 2.5 or 3 inch collector that i can slip pipe over and band clamp on.

this is the header on my car dan, the collector seems super restrictive.

Still behind. Sorry..

That header is a Tri-Y header. The collector is sized exactly for high velocity. If you replace that collector with a 3" collector, velocity will drop. Since you are running boost, you can probably get away with it but you would be better off with larger primary tubes and a 4 into 1 design.
