The right way would be to powder coat it but I heard Plasti Dip works well.

Yeah, pretty much. Do a few coats and it would also be good to clear coat them.

I'm not too sure. I haven't painted my wheels yet but I wouldn't go toooo rough. Like 1000? Someone correct me here. You're really supposed to go lower to higher with each coat of paint. Like rough sand with like 600 or 800 then paint, then wetsand with 1000 then paint then sand again with 1200 then clear. At least, I think.

u can go as low as 340 grit if you want and still paint after that, then u can work up if you want to to 500 or 600 grit

wash with degreaser, sand with 400 grit. then wash again. then wear gloves and clean all finger prints and **** off with windex or a solvent cleaner or something. blow any **** off of them. Then spray light coats so it doesnt run. go completely so its all the color you want. then spray with clear for a little protection

i used duplicolor gloss black. soon gonna redo them with real guns, but i used duplicolor. dont need high temp paint liek said above, your calipers get hot not your rims, there outside your car with air constantly blowing on them, iv never had a problem with paint bubbling nor have I ever felt my rims and went "WOW THATS HOT"

Correct. I'm going to head to Home Depot one day and buy a couple cans and try it on my wheels when I'm not too lazy. I've seen pictures of Plasti Dip wheels and they look pretty good.

I'm surprised that no one has said what I thought would be the obvious answer.....

Black caliper paint. Several of my friends rims, including mkulrey13's, were done with that. Covers very well and is very durable!

I think it's dull but I know they have a gloss coat.
