HID Astra Retrofits

Hey guys i would like to find out how difficult it is to use the Saturn Astra headlights to do a retrofit for my 08' Cobalt Sport? I really like the look of the Astra layout compared to the stock Cobalt. I have seen the end results on one of the threads here but they didnt say they were from an Astra or how they did it:

Looks like it was the first set that SilverSS/SC did that he sold to another member. after i saw a Saturn parked next to me today at lunch i was really digging the OEM look for a base to retrofit.

Maybe his are not Astra retrofits, but they sure look like it.

Also, if it is not to difficult of a retrofit to get the Astra lights, can you retrofit a Bi-Xenon system into them like the FX-R kit from The Retrofit Source.

i would rather have an HID for both the low and high beams, then use the old High beam for the Flash to Pass. Any Pictures or info would be greatly appreciated.

From what I know they are extremely time consuming. Thankfully I got the opertunity to buy them from SilverSS/SC because these are the coolest retro's I have seen and they perform 10000000 times better than the stock headlights. Here are some pics that I have.

Man, i love the way those look. Oem style is way better than the aftermarkets with those dumb halos and leds all over the place. these are way clean. so do they wire up and plug in the same as the stockers or are they wired all crazy, excluding the HID setup if you have it? do you have any pics of the back of the housing where the bulbs go in? Hate to say it but im jealous!

For the most part it is plug and play. Currently I dont have any pics of the back side of the lights but I can arrange that. The hids that are in there are DS2's 4300K hi and low beam. At night it is like driving through a big ass tunnel of light with the brights on!
