yeah she got the shot and now has a muscle disorder. that is very weird. the scary thing is they say that 1 in 1 million have it. so if you do the math. that means there is a potential for 25 people to end up with the same fate, thats just in the usa.

Well, it seems that if someone who has pre-existing conditions or had existing health problems can get it alot worse. If you're generally healthy then it'll put you out for a bit, but you'll get over it.

If you deal with alot of people every day and are at a higher risk of getting it, then the shot is a good idea.

Personally I am not getting the shot.

I didn't get the shot and I really don't care. Its 1 of probably millions of different types of flu out there. Every year people die from your typical general flu and it doesn't make the news because its just flu and nobody cares until its got a fancy name.

My company has over reacted to this though. Back in the May when it showed up in the news in Mexico our company banned all travel to and from Mexico. When the Mexican government shout down businesses our company sent them dust masks so they could continue to work as normal. The also made everybody in the company take their temp every day at work, log it, and if you had a temp (100F+) or your temp changed by more than 2F from the day before you went straight to the dr and couldn't come back until the dr said it was ok. Also on the log sheet was if anyone in your home was feeling sick and if so their temp. They did this for 2 months and we still aren't allowed to travel to or from Mexico.

I voted for this one: "I laugh at N1H1 its just the flu i dont need no Vaccine"

BUT, I had the Swine Flu back in June (it wasn't all that bad, imo) and I also got the shot last month (all military personnel were required to get it).

With that said, out of the 50 people in my unit that got some sort of Swine Flu infection back in June... there were none of us that were in any serious danger. Gotta stay hydrated and isolated form the non-infected.

Also, out of the thousands of Soldiers/Marines/Sailors that got the shot on my base, and another one slightly north, here in Iraq... NO ONE has had any kind of reaction to the shot. But we all got the shot, not the nasal spray.

Im worried i might get it, and if i do im very stubborn, i hate needles!
i still havent had my tetnis shot, nor my hepitias c shots.. i hate the doctors and i stay as far away from them as i can!
i guess just gotta try to stay away.
but on the plus side if you do get it, your employer HAS to give you one week off with pay, because its classified as a Diseas, and ****

The vaccine will cause 28-days-later-like zombie symptoms after 2 years, thus explaining how the apocolyse will come in 2012.
