head compatability

does anyone know for sure if the heads between 06 and 07 l61s are compatible or not? I know they changed quite a bit between 06 and 07, including the ignition system, ECU, ect...

Not sure if it makes a compatability issue but the 07 had cam positioning sensors and reluctor wheels. Since I havent been inside of a 07 head I cant say if tha makes a difference or not.

More importantly it's time to just replaced said engine with lt1 and high rating of n2o.

You should see if you can switch your 07 head for an lsj 07 head. don't know anything about this but it'd be cool!

LSJ's never cme with cam sensors, nomatter what year. a LNF or LE5 would probably be easier, either way the cams are still of a different grind.

I would need an l61 head, not le5 (this engine is quite different from the l61), and not LNF (essentially an LSJ). I didn't blow my head, it is still just fine, I was hoping to find a second one to port and polish to minimize down time. I want a patriot stage 2 head, but they don't offer one for 07s.
