change your cabin air filter...

I just changed mine for the 2nd time(06 balt) and it was about black and clogged, should be white. Its one of the easiest filter installs, right behind the glove box.

"The air inside your vehicle may actually contain more pollutants than the air outside. That’s why ACDelco Cabin Air Filters are carbon-impregnated and designed to help eliminate molds, pollen, allergens, smoke, fumes, and odors.
When changed regularly, our filters can help reduce wear on your vehicle’s heating, ventilation, and air conditioning system."

Cabin air filter part/price
I took a print out of this and the parts dept at the dealership at classic beat the price, and no s/h to worry about.

How to w/pics I found

Did mine over this past winter. Was a very solid use of 10 bucks and 5 minutes time.

To a point, yes. But IMO, the airflow and AC in these cars is "ok"..

my car runs like crap with the a/c on.... I think it might be because of the sc and a/c compressor in the same belt line.

it shouldnt affect "how cold it is" but it will definetly affect how much air flows through it. if its very dirty it will feel like it isnt blowing hard at all
