They've been talking a long time about doing this. I'm glad it is becoming a reality! No more dragging into the sun. I hope the new road course is cool, I've taken a few classes on the existing one, it's a blast. Lots of change in altitude about halfway point. Cheers to the Fiorito family! Thanks for the article atwilson, hope to see you guys down here soon since they aren't closing the existing 1/4 mi.

 

I know I am so happy!!! Now I can make some real plays on the road course.

 

Have ya'll been to PIR (Portland International Raceway) dragstrip or road course? I have been thinking about going and wondered if anyone had input. Thanks!

 

I live 10 minutes from Pacific Raceways, and although it's a nice facility it definately needs these changes! Pacific is about a tenth quicker than Bremerton Raceways as well.... more noticeable in cars about 13.75 or so and quicker. Pacific has way better track crews as well. I wanna get down to PIR as well one of these days and try that out!
Personal note.......federal holiday =long weekend and neither Bremerton or Pacific is open til next wed...I call BS!!!!!
