rev it up dallas ft worth

just wondering if anyone has signed up to compete at the rev it up in dallas? its gonna be july 29,30 costs about fifty bucks and the competition car is the cobalt ss this year. plus you get to drive a vette on an autocross track and some cobalt ss/sc on some other tracks. there will also be an included driving school and personnal instruction.

Unfortunatley, from what I'm hearing, the competition cars are going to be automatic transmission cars which I suppose makes them SS's at best. The 'skills clinics' are supposed to have SS/SC's; here's hoping I get to DC early enough before someone breaks them.

yea the competition cars are ss autos, but that will level the playing field and make it easier to left foot brake on the turns. the pedal positioning on the 5 spd isnt great for left foot braking or heel toe downshifts in the balts. as for someone breaking the cars im sure theyll fix them on a regular basis, i know im gonna pound on em as hard as i can.
