Autocross for a cure...8/27/06 ( washington county airport - Washington, PA )

Hey all you western PA / Eastern OH and wv peeps...

For those of you not aware... the North Hills Sports Car CLub is hosting an Autocross @ the Washtington County airport in washington PA ( rihgt off rt 70 ) and the proceeds go to MS.

THis happens on August 27th ( Sunday ) annd is limited to 150 cars.

for you burgh guys that I've run with before... get out there and sign up and let the CObalts be seen and heard. I've been the only one lately ( GTP... I know you have recently ).

SO.... go to www.nhscc.com and print out the registration form if you're going.

I'll be there and it's for a great cause.

Come see Darkhelmet and Spaceball ONE take on the WRXs and SRT4s of D-Stock!

Hey sorry Brian... I hardly ever check the Auto-x section of the site. I would've jumped on this sooner had I seen it.

DAn.... get on there and register...

Alicia... as far as I know... YES... you can. I would do it ASAP both of you...

and we should make sure Jon knows in the event that he wants to as well.

Not sure who else would want to ... George maybe??

I would say that if you don't register NOW... you might miss the boat.

I'll find the link to the event itself, and link it, so you can see the entry list so far... it's not FULL, but when they updated it this morning... ALOT more showed up.

EDIT: Here's the link.... check out how many so far...

George....

Wes would have to run in STS... maybe even SM since he did the Pulley swap and such. I think I heard somewhere that once you do that... all bets are off and you're in SM... I could be wrong...

I just would LOVE to have some more Cobalts out there and show them ( the other FWD cars ) that we're here, and we're NOT going away...

George, also... you are always welcome to come out adn co-drive my car anytime. I would LOVE to get your experienced brain behind my wheel so I can get some pointers on what I'm doing right and wrong, and also what my car is doing and what i need to do to fix it.

If you're interested, let me know... there are alot of other Auto-X's still to come... 2 more @ BR, and I think 3 more for NHSCC...

Sign me up for this one in your car....I can co-drive it so you'll get a free autocross school.

OK....

I talked to some people, and they said there's plenty of time for you to register....

You'll just need to fill in my car info when you register.

NOW>..... do you have # plates?? Or magentic #'s or anything??? If not.. this might get a bit confusing...

I have # plates and we COULD go and get @ lowes or something some magnetic #'s to add.... my # is 58 DS

So... you could get a 1 or a 2 or something and just put it in front of my # on the plate....

I'll PM you my # and we can talk about it.

Hell, I'll even refund you the $20 and consider it a class fee....

Thanks G-unit

BUMP!

Dont' forget about the Auto-X this weekend everyone. Even if you can't, or don't want to run, come on out and support the Cobalts that do. All for a good cause as well.

EDIT:
If you are coming and can spare it..... bring a canned food donation for the local food bank as well. I just found this out this AM ( 8-22 ).

Here's the link for the event.

www.autocrossforacure.com

Thanks!
