Here's the details, courtesy of an 8thCivic forum member, Nox.

Let me be the first to suggest a Cobalt vs Civic shootout. Kinda like the evo vs sti shootouts. We could do it in the spring, that would give everyone time to get ready.

The location will be determined by the participants. Wherever the heaviest concentration is, we will probably be in that region. Looks like central and east are leading candidates as of now.

Initial date would be April 13 & 14. However that is flexible based on participant schedules and track availibility.

Friday night cruise in at a local Hooters or similair. Saturday afternoon time trials. Saturday night racing. We will also be holding an open car show. Any make any model. Classes to be determined based on entries.

We also need a race field of minimum 16, to a maximum of 32 cars. Single elimination.

1. One power adder
2. Must drive car from home to event - no trailering
3. DOT street slicks
4. Track to be determined by location of participants and track availibility.
5. Heads up - First to finish line wins, single elimnation.
6. Brackets set by cars and qualifying times. ie...civics vs cobalts...ladders set by qualifying times.


I am sure we would add other rules along the way.

Better kick some ass guys!!! wish i could be there 1 of them on the site said that it should be an RSX-S vs. SI match. Then BLU-BY-U said the following :

Seriously....They really think there N/A civics can take our cars..****. They hate cuz its simply a car they cant afford. I dont hate ferrari's or there drivers simply because i cant afford one!! lol. SOMEONE POST THIS LINK ON THE FORUM LOL

AHH unless they're done right .... I've taken out a few turbo civics with a whopping 6psi turbo kit they were running.... so much **** talked... and I just walked em.

Where. If it's more than 100 miles away i'm obviously not going to make it you know. Drive 200 miles just to hand an SI it's ass is not worth it. I have done it locally twice already. Kind of a waste of gas but I like putting them in their place.
