Post here so we can get a count of the Cobalts in the area, regardless of body style. I'd like to set up some meets so we can roll and what not.

ANYONE GOIN' TO DATONA FOR THE RACE I'D LIKE TO KNOW SO WE COULD MEET UP AND HANG OUT, AND CRUSE INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY DRIVE, BEFORE AND AFTER THE RACE...

 

I'm going, but to do some work. I'm in the graphics business and I'm putting Checker's (the fast food chain) graphics on a concession trailer in the infield tomorrow and maybe finishing up Thursday. The cool thing is the trailer is parked right by the pits so I'll be able to catch practice runs and such. I'm trying to see if they'll give me credentials that could maybe get me in the gates this weekend.

The first Cobalt SS/SC I ever saw was at the Rolex 24 when I was doing 3 other trailers there at the beginning of Speed Week. Watched it run with Ferrari's, Vettes, and Porches so I had to learn more about this amazing car. 3 months later I got me one.

I'll be taking my work van, though, so I don't think I'll be impressing anyone if I go cruising with it...

 

Wish I could go... but trying to save up some money for the GTO and some minor stuff on the Cobalt...

 

got a blue granite base coupe on 18's lowered polished valve cover short air intake limo tinted widows all aftermarket stereo 2 12's 7.5" touch screen in the dash i live in lakeland

 

Looks like we have quite a few in the area. We should set up a meet or whatever get together and shoot the **** and show off our cars. Anybody have any ideas?

 

Welcome... where in Lakeland did you get your tint, how much?? I'm looking to get mine done! Probably go limo but I'm not sure as of yet...

 

I was thinking about calling the club Domestic Disturbance and seeing about getting some SRT4's and other domestic cars to join. Just an idea. What do you guys think or do you have any other ideas?

 

As of the 23rd of June, I am the proud owner of a victory Red Cobalt SS. I'm military so I'm currently living in South Korea, however at the moment I'm back home here in St. Pete. My wife is a closet case car lover, so she may want to attend some meetings. I've modded my old Z24 before I got this (traded in the J.. *sniff, sniff*) and I must say, I am most certainly impressed! I'll be looking forward to posting!

Yes! That's where the wife lives/where I'm staying while I'm in the U.S..

 

I live 2 buildings from you and saw it when I left to go out to Mugs n Jugs on Thursday. Mine's yellow. Like if you were to keep going around that lil bend past your building, I live in the last building, 2 down from her. I got mine back on the 14th.

 

Small world! My wife is jealous you got a yellow one. She wanted hers in yellow as well and I told her we could've waited to get a yellow one, but she decided she'd take the red one.

I leave on Saturday morning to go back to "the land of the morning calm," aka Korea, so I won't be around the states, but I'll be actively monitoring this site.

I hope us Tampa area folks can get together. Maybe y'all can do a Setser's or something. I'll be back again in November, so maybe I can finally meet all of you then!

I just drove by your SS twice. Did you get the one from Autoway without a sunroof? Before you were parked closer to my building now you're all parked near the entrance off 4th.

How many of you tampa guys have heard of tamparacing? they have meets all the time, for almost everyday of the week someones getting somethin together cuz no1 can meet on a certain time and place...anyway..any ss's wanna roll with us to some of these meets that would be sweet, i know scarred is pretty close to us so you should roll with us www.tamparacing.com

 

I'm down, I'm not going to be street racing any fools though. I'm also moving soon. Let me know.

and knightrider: that would be tite if we could roll to Orlando to show the SS's off together, im off saturday, let me see if i can get some other guys to roll with us ill let you know, but i dont think they all will feel like drivin to Orlando.
