I attempted to change my avatar using one of the pictures from the list. It now displays as a red X. Wondering how that can be fixed. But...I was also curious about custom avatars. Uploading or linking to a site/FTP? Most places don't allow avatars, except for Premium type members. Perhaps we could do that here, if we don't already? I didn't see the option to upload, so I assume it is an issue that hasn't been tackled, as of yet. Just thoughts.

 

Ok..update. RedCavy showed me the way. It seems if you go through your PM message link to your profile...selecting avatars there won't work. Nor is there an option to upload one. However, if you go through the link at the top of the page that says Profile, it will work and you have the option to upload. Rather confusing.

just register (its free) and you have unlimited storage space and have the ability to either link full size images or thumbnails. pretty cool little deal if i do say so myself.
