It's not needed, but because the throttlebody is not attached to the blower it's useable.

M90 or no... its still a Ford ****-Probe. POS to begin with.

I'd buy it for $500 and promptly part it out. Its worth much more that way.

If the bidder uses the buy it now option I will also include a extra regular Eaton M90 supercharger with the flange that is a direct fit for this kit
Anyone else catch that part?? I'll take the extra m90!!

I think it looks good. But I am very confused as to why he decided to intercool it and put a blow off valve on it.

A few supercharger upgrades that I have seen have included a BOV, kinda gives me hope, I would love to have one on my car. I have also heard of a dual purpose bypass valve that doubles as both a BOV and bypass valve.

The s/c is not bolted onto the engine, instead it it sucks air in and blows it down into a collection pipe, so to speak, if you look to the right side of the engine bay, you'll see the pipe going from the bottom front of the engine up the right side and then connecting to the throttle body of the engine (on top) he has a blow-off value because the s/c does not directly bolt up to the engine, but instead goes through the pipe... he needs a way to alievate the built up pressure the s/c is making when the throttle body is closed.

actually i think that car looks nice...just the exterior. too much crap inside. the price is probably b/c it has a lot of miles on it and it has 5 more days left.

The price is because the engine is toast, obviously driven very hard. I believe it was GoofyGuy over on the redline forums that installed a BOV on a LSJ. It serves no purpose other than making sound. He found one with a very weak spring, then cut the spring to further weaken it. It has to be able to open with nearly no psi. If you go over there and do a search you may find it. He had a video where you could hear it between shifts, not my thing but if it's something that you wanted to do it's a good place to start.
