You cannot rev an automagic past 4k in netural... You dont have an issue its just the way it is...

yup, same "issue" here. pretty lame. my equinox had this too, but i found a trick, if u were moving faster then 5mph u could slip into N and rev close to red line, then wait for rpm's to drop back down and throw it back into gear

this is not neutral dropping, neutral dropping is rev'ing high and then throwin into gear at the high rpm...big no no

You have an automatic why do you need to rev past 4k anyway?

my head hurts from reading this thread.....
and gm does that to keep idiots from blowing up their engines, and to not let you neutral drop.

no reason to rev past 4k in neutral or park. there is a rev limiter on there for a reason. if you really can't get your car past 4k when you are driving on the street where it should be able to go to the real limit than you may have an issue.

just stop trying to neutral drop an automatic.

What language is this?

That would be the cut-off of fuel to keep idiots from ruining their engine/tranny, and the rocking back and forth of your engine in the mounts is causing the vibration. Solution = stop revving in neutral, your just wasting gas anyways.

this took alot longer to read than i thought lol... Yea dude all automatics now have the restricter on how far you can rev in Neutral... when your driving are you popping out of drive to make it sound like you have a stick or something... i dont see the point in that
