As long as the exhaust manifold will work I would get get that and the touring exhaust.
Then I can maintain my warranty no question. Add a CAI intake and I would think it would add up to a nice increase. Maybe in the spring I will look more into this.

over in the 2.0L section. These parts were announced at SEMA. I think you can get them sometime in the new year.

I find it really wierd that prices for exhaust systems are that high.... I had a flowmaster dual system with chrome tips put on my ranger for like $300.... are prices really that much higher for cars?

The GM official Solstice cat-back exhaust is $120 more too. Get your parts from gmpartsdirect.com instead of GM dealers. You can always then have the dealer install it for you.

Remember these are GM MSRP costs, they're not necisarily what you have to pay. For example the Solstice exhaust is GM LIST: $625.00 and they sell it for $437.50.

according to gm parts direct you can order that part right now for 410$ but when i went to the dealer with these part #'s they had no idea what i was talking about and said it might be available by summer. also it doesnt really specify that it is a 05 Cobalt SS cat-back system, it just says engine/exhaust/muffler....?

Yeah.... I really want to hear sound clips of exhaust before I buy.... I'm not a big fan of the fart can sound that a lot of these systems seem to produce.

unfortunately--for us living in Canada---there wold be alot of duty and shipping on ordering from the US. Of course once I can get a dealer price here I can try to compare them.

Messy. Nice signature Waylin

Also, those parts aren't worth the price they are asking. Aftermarket is better then what the company sells hands down. If you like warrantys and being ripped off then I would say buy it GM direct.

I'm not planning on getting it just interested on just hearing it, and I'm going with BORLA for my exhaust.
