I voted earlier for San Fran (previously posted in another thread), but Lake Tahoe is very nice too.
I don't think that there is much to do in the Redding area, not a very big city.

There's pleanty to do in Redding, great food, nice motels. The lake, the river, mountain roads galore!

Have u been to Redding!?!?!?!, 181,402 people, pretty decient size city......

Not that it matters to most of you but,,,,,I have been talking to a cavi guy on another ecotec forum site about getting a few people from the sac area and people from my area (Redding) to meet some where in the middle which is Chico, Ca. some time after the first of the year.

So maybe CHICO can be an option but i think thers less to do there. College town ftl.....(unless u want to party)

They're all pretty far, but Redding is the closest. But its only another couple hours to the rest of the destinations. If we're going that far might as well make it somewhere really cool like Tahoe or San Fran.

More than a couple hours, Sac is a couple hours and san fran is past that.

My vote stays at Redding.

Yeah, a few times. Nothing compared to San Fran area in terms of stuff. I'm sure we'ed all have a great time in Redding too. Just think a little farther south would be more attractive for most Cali folks.
