TurboTechRacing Motor Mount & Prothane Transmission Mounts( 56k users beware)
the motor mount took about 5~7 minutes. one that i did myself, to that should let you know how easy it was to do. the transmissions is what took a lot longer.
thanks to marerick007 for the help for the install.
the vibes, rattling and noises have calm down quite a bit since saturday.
sounds like the engines going to blow through the hood and launch in to space! you can feel the floorboards rattle. now launching this car is great. no wheel hop, it totally boost my confidantes in driving and shifting. if you can take the rattles and noise ( think, hearing a v8 inside your car ) its a great product so far. i' ve put about 100 miles on them. i tried getting some video of the drive and noise with my cell phone, but they suck!

Art, I've been working some mad hours this week, 12-14 hour shifts, plus in-laws here, plus exercise coming up next week so I will get to it as soon as I can.
Its good to hear that the vibes have calmed down...you kind of had me not wanting to do it when you said your feet were going numb...

well its been a week ( tomorrow ) since i ve ...i mean WE (
) installed the mounts. put about 150 miles on them so far. vibes have improved alot since the 1st day i started the car with them. still NO WHEEL HOPE! i ve launcher her hard to at green lights. the rattling doesnt bother me as much as the vibes do though. like i said, sounds like you have a v8 engine INSIDE YOUR CAR! girl friend is coming over tomorrow with her camera, so i ll try and get some videos and sounds of it. now, is it a good product, i ll have to say YES! BUT you ll have to deal with the rattles and vibes though.
Ive had mine in for a while and the vibes/rattles settle down, but over time the rattles and squeeks start coming out. I just turn my radio up. At the track, I could finally feel good about just launching the car. Good buy if you can handle it in the long run. Im actually buying a set of stock trans mounts and just swapping out the mounts when I know Im going to thte track.
i've got 600 miles on mine - and the vibes are almost gone (from the steering wheel shaking test), but its still loud from the engine bay... still by far the best thing i've paid for yet. sounds nice and mean!
glad to see other people are enjoying these mounts as much as i am.

well its been about 4 month since i ve installed my bushings and motor mount. i really havent pushed them the last few months until today. spring weather, rock playing on the stereo and the sunroof open! red light, i said what the hell and punched it! took off like a bat out of hell! still, no wheel hop! next red light i stopped out, yupper, another take off! - i didnt speed though, but got up to speed, fast as hell as the cobalt and the supercharger could get me there! again, Aaron and TurboTechRacing, great product!
