Ported Head

So I'm going to be getting my head ported in a few weeks and was wondering who has already done this, and also what there results were as far as throttle response, iat2s, and overall power

Not on the car yet... bench test show that it's an 11% gain in flow on an average port job and a slight drop in intake temps.
From what I hear, the throttle response improves quite a bit.

The unfortunate thing, is that the head isn't the bottle neck....

Someone needs to find a company that ports out intake manifold and does it well. And that video makes my pants wet.

The intake manifold really can't be ported to much anyway gasket matching it removes little material.

Where you think he got the idea <----me

We ported the head on Gilberts SS, but no real gains to speak of. If you port the supercharger properly it will help more ar atleast the same. You don't even need the head ported unless you plan to run cams anyhow.
