Many other forums have gotten rid of this section, because of flack they have caught from authorities, parents or relatives of those who died in street racing, & etc. Any one can be sued for any thing now-a-days, and unfortunately when you are a business and you openly discuss illegaal activities, it pretty means you are condoning it, even if you have a disclaimer.

Why not just delete the whole site? This thread proves that there are too many people that will never agree. We're human, thats the way its going to be. Not everyone will ever be happy. Mods, make a decision, leave it at that

I said it before on page one. Remove the lounges too if you remove the war stories. Atleast the war stories are car related and not "do you shave your *****" by fupininja

this world is doomed. everything is going to the way of human rights/political correctness/retardedness.... pretty soon noone will be allowed to talk because everything will be banned. this will avoid anyone having a difference of opinion or be offended by another individuals actions/words.
reminds me of a front page article in the news paper here... a woman and her daughter raised a big stink because a local hockey team wasn't displayed on a "goodluck" sign of a local oil company here when 4 other local teams were. sadly the other 4 teams were from a different province. the company did not show the other team on the sign because of contract conflicts and also that the sign was biligual and should not have been displayed in the city of the forgotten team.
seriously the next page someone was murdered and the front page article is about a whiney bitch and her stupid assed daughter pissing over not seeing their favourite hockey team on a sign? god forbid everyone doesn't support the team that each of us as individuals likes so we don't feel discriminated against.

no this is called "a few people whine because they don't agree with street racing" and suddenly the site has to change to "discourage such behaviour" defense. ya because we all know the only reason people street race is so they can go post it online to impress people they will never meet. removing "war stories" will definately stop people from street racing. ya riiiiiiiight. sorry but there are many reasons why people do it:
A)don't have tracks near them
B)don't always get a chance to race a specific car at the track
C)can't afford to pay to have to race all the time
D)don't always have the convenience of just going to a track whenever they feel like playing a bit because it's not always open.
E)prove something to someone
F)compare two cars performance in a roll scenario which can't be done on a drag strip easily.
G)spend hours at a track only to be able to do a few runs because it's busy.
and the list goes on....

The same thing was said to those in the early 1900's that said income taxes (or taxes in general) would soon be out of control... or to those that said the bailout plan wouldn't work and would actually crash the economy eventually.. but yea.. i guess you're right... we are blowing it out of proportion

How many people can really say they have never red light raced, did a pull on the highway or even went 10 over the speed limit. Get off your damn high horse people. Closing the war stories section will not save anybodies life nor will it bring anybody back from the dead. Best defense for this whole thing...dont be gay. If you dont like it, dont click it. Just ban the freakin trolls. Lots of people have been banned for silly reasons, why not ban the real trolls doing harm to the site?

Fupa is a tool bag bro but he keeps it interesting. I dont mind guys that are a bunch of characters and say crazy ****. I love that. If we were stuck with a bunch of strict ass ****'s who got mad everytime a thread slightly veered off track i wouldnt check this forum or get half as much laughs out of it. A few tool bags here and there are aight as long as there not hurting anyone

Freedom of speech....isn't that one of our freedoms you army/marine/navy guys are protecting? Why not ban all posts and threads talking about anything illegal, i.e., customizing your car(many mods are against the law), pot, **** sex, underage drinking, video games where you kill other people....

Because this forum is a private forum requiring membership and therefore does not fall under the freedom of speech act. Just like how a strip club in ohio is not allowed to legally be fully nude but a simple $10 membership fee and business card that says member #_____ gets around that law by making it a private club.
