so the guys at Proven Power had a fall out and now Im scrambling to find a trust worthy shop to work out the bugs with my turbo set up.

Main thing is I want my vacuum lines re checked and I have a manifold leak between the head and manifold. I'm sick and tired of goin to shops and them doin half ass work. I had this problem with Pete Stop and they act and look like they work on performance stuff in St.pete and I really want to avoid goin back to them.

Where my St.pete/Tampa peeps at lol. I tried to get a hold of Marc but havent heard back from him.

I need help takin my turbo mani off so I can see where my leak is and possibly have it machined. At the same time I want to put my other turbo on. If anyone thinks they can help me complete this task in a day or 2 let me know. Could save me money from a shop.

What's your setup and where are you looking to work on the car. I can possibly help out depending on where and when...

Not 100% sure what you want to know bout set up. Its a zzp log style manifold. Its a tight squeeze but with the new turbo it should bolt right up and leave me a little more room. I'm just worried bout the hard time Im gonna have with limited ability to get under the car.

You answered my question...it's a log manifold.

You don't have a jack and jack stands? It's a bitch, but trust me, you can disassemble/reassemble a turbo setup on your back under the car. Ask me how I know. It helps to have more than one person and a wealth of tools. Did you buy new gaskets and everything needed?

not yet. I'm gonna buy all new studs and bolts so I dont have a mix match up there and a new gasket...if I do this I need to know where to take the manifold in case it needs to be machined.

So the log manifold is already installed. You're removing it to check why you have a leak and then reinstalling it with a different turbo? Just want to make sure I have this right...

correct. everything has been on the car for a a few years now but there is a leak that is coming back leading me to believe the mani may need a resurface. While its off I figured get a turbo more the size Ive been looking for atm. The one on it is too big for what I Want now.
Things I dont look forward to is that nothing has ever seem to fit perfectly lol

Well, unfortunately, there's no way to plan around custom problems with custom projects. I can make some calls tomorrow and see if I can find a shop near you that can resurface that manifold flange. I know a guy who may know a guy in your area...

gonna give this guy at Levin Motorsports a try. I was very impressed with him when I stopped by his shop. He might end up being my go to guy.
