Where to get car dyno and tuned in AL?

Is there any place in AL (preferably near Birmingham, but i'm willing to drive if needed) that I could have my car dynoed and tuned? I'm actually looking to do the stage2 down to a 2.8 pully and probably a port and polish on the supercharger. I'd also like to dyno the car before i have the mods done so i can have documented proof of what the whp gains are.

anyone know of someplace that will do this? otherwise i'm going to have to just let the gm dealership do the install, and if i have to do that, i'd really like some info on a gm dealership in the birmingham area that has actually installed a stage2 kit and correctly done the flash. i've seen too many horror stories about the gm dealership foobaring the flash to re-tune.

anyhoo, any contact info would be greatly appreciated!!

place in Tuscaloosa does it, can't remember the guys name but he mainly does the Camaro, T/A, Corvette but he said that the Cobalt would be no problem. From what I've heard from other people he is really good. It's like 150 an hour on the dyno tuning, and 175 if you want him to hook up a wideband. If you're interested let me know and I will get you his number. I plan on taking mine to him and I think JC may go too.

where is this place at in Tuscaloosa? I want to get a wideband dyno on mine. The place I had it dynoed at only had a tail pipe sniffer, no wideband.

I'd be really interested about goin to Tuscaloosa to get it done. I did find a place in huntsville that would dyno the car, but wouldnt really help out much with the tuning. they did have a contact for a guy who did gm tuning though and they could easily put me in touch with him.

lets get this guy's contact info!

I know for my car there are a few really high quality turnners (I wouldnt let someone that doesnt know about the given car touch it... the tune is far to important) who do the Cobalts consider to be the best or is there one?

The only person I trust other than me is a guy back in FL. I tuned my 07 Stang GT, 06 GTO, and 99 C5 vette. Now Im working on my Balt. But I need a few more gauges to even start tuning.
Around here in Huntsville as I said there are two places that have dyno's and but not to sure what they charge. If anyone needs I can look up the names of the places.

I just had mine dynoed, I have yet to ever have a tune done to the vehicle (I am going to wait until I get a pulley. I just wanted to see if I was round 400rwhp/tq and I wanted to check my A/F)

The guy that did mine is in Jasper alabama and his name is Doug I think. His business is called Bama Chips (bamachips.com also I think is his site)

He has a tail pipe sniffer and not a o2 sensor to get A/F fyi. He is nice, he was at a local show in Bessmer and I got a couple runs on it. He said I was running lean but I cant be sure going by the sniffer~ He has a mobile dyno of course and goes to shows and such~

Top Dead Center does HP tuning but just started and mostly V8s. I'm trying to get them talked into doing my 07 Sky LE61 ( 2.4 with L61 cyl head) and a bunch of other goodies but Mike is
hesitant.
Any thoughts?

This thread is from 2007. You should look into getting a remote tune from someone with a good reputation

A set up that nobody has done. 2.4 block L61 head. Stage 3 COMP cams long tube header meth injection with a 1.6L Lysholm supercharger pushing 18 psi. Have to run 80lb injectors for the top end so needs tuned bad for the bottom.
