pbbbt. 67 GTO is my dreeeeeeam car. Granted the odds of me finding one and having the money are next to none so I settled on my balt. My uncle will be at the track on the 19th with his 66 Goat. Does low 13's naturally aspirated.

haha. Nothing like getting beat by classic muscle, eh? Well, if that's the goat in the picture, then it's a new one. Hopefully we can get all sorts of people going on the 19th!
Btw, that's before he put the new transmission in. Was supposed to go with Nal and I when we went last month, but he blew his driveshaft apart on I25 on the way there.

ha ha littlemt lives here in Alb and messing with you, has some BAD ASS cars in the line up there too. How is the GTO has it made any openings at the track? That car is a beast and a half. Littlemt had a slowbalt for a short while before getting the goat and going ALL out with it. you run into that car and try and count how many bus lengths it will put on you ha ha. Littlemt any thoughts on a turbo cobalt for the next project...looks promising?
the GTO made a early appearance last year, on six psi and street tires:
my next project will probably be a 2010 Camaro.
I am probably old enough to be your mother....

well just dropped my car off at nationwide transmission to see what the verdict will be on the clutch issues. they are a vendor on rsw and give a discount on labor for members and i think they will be more trust worthy as a vendor on the rsw forum. cross your figures i hope this isnt going to be i wallet drainer.

The car got towed to Solid Tech and it turned out a bolt from the pressure plate had backed out and caused this havoc. The car is now running around again.
I don't believe this issue had anything to do with the work I got at Nationwide, my GT35R turbo was hitting a brake line on the engine firewall and it opened a small pin hole, Nationwide came up with a clever fix and my brakes are good again.
I merely point out my experiences, the fact that this bolt came out right after the work I got seems coincidental.

have you taken any stuff back or dont want to take the chance...i have put this off for a while because i know of so many people that end up having to replace things that were never an issue before they took their car in.

I think I would use them again, and might for some intercooler pipping, again what happened to me is probably bad timing, I merely point it out in case this stuff should start occuring with others, if that happens then maybe something sinister is going on behind close doors and would need further scrutiny, as of now, I believe them to be a good shop.
Daniel it turns out has a colored past with many skeletons, I knew that prior to taking my car in, he does seem on the up and up now and so far, all that have gone there have given good feedback, so it apears that Daniel maybe learned from past mistakes and is trying to do a good job for folks, which I hope is the case.

oh cool i didnt research very much on him so i didnt know anything about the reputation he has. i really hope everything goes well i have not had a good working clutch i over 2 years... really want to see what my car can do at the track. if all goes well i am prob going to through a 50 to 75 shot on the car as there are not too many decent priced options for me at this point. now the fun of trying to find a tuner for the nitrous. i might go to phoenix to guy who tuned me with what i have on now but we will see

tunes are pricey at around $500 I believe. IMO Sean is one of the best tuners in the Western United States if not the Country.
My GTO is barely running 6lbs boost, hardly any timing with a rich/safe tune yet my fuel milage increased and the cars horsepower almost doubled, he used HP tuners and 60lb injectors.
He could have been more aggressive on the GTO and it would have made more power, but I wanted a safe/reliable tune until this bad economy passes and I can have a forged bottom end built.
