Honestly, unless you go to the track every weekend, you'll be just fine with better pads, rotors, high-temp fluid, and braided lines, correct? I just use mine for a DD, but I will probably hit up the track a couple times a year after I get my brakes and suspension done.. I'd love the Brembo's or some likewise braking system, but that $900 will pay for most of my M62..

Hey, not bad if this is accurate.

I believe he said it was about $900 if you piece it together, but a touch over a grand from GM directly.. But yes, completely bolt-on for all SS models..

I think they are referring to just the TC's brakes, but yes, this is a very involved build, and i am lucky to have someone working on it that cares so much about the little details.
This is an informational thread, not at all something the average guy can knock up in a garage.

400 miles so far.....no issues noted AT ALL. Ill pull 'em on wednesday and take a closer look for boot pinching or anything, but nothings moved so far. Steddy has some SERIOUS roads near his house, we HAMMERED these things there on Friday night.

seriously. Thats how much he saved me.

i think i should have gone with the 275's in the rear. The 265's are just a hair too small. There is no rim protector now.
