Actually the old Grand AM's were 5x100 and the last generation were 5x115, not actually 114.3. 114.3 wheels will fit, but it's not actually correct.

if you have a gt 5 you do not have to change knuckles to fit brembos, but if you are not 5 x 110 you will have some redriolling to do. all the knuckles save the LNF are the same, the CED Brembo kit comes with spacers and shims and bolts so the brembo conversion can be done properly and safely. I have a complete pc'd brembo package front and rear TC calipers for 1500 It can be adapted to a drum brake axle at the rear if you wish for a few dollars more for the parts.

thanks but I have the same 06 cobalt and I can't buy the TC because problem with abs signal and i don't want the 114 mm pattern and for sure no body know what other pattern have the gram am. thanks that the question and the tread doesn't have the info

I have the right drill guide for redrilling the hubs and can press the studs in properly also.

Hmm....is the 5x114.3 hub the same center bore size? Trying to figure out if one would need to get custom hub centric rings since you'd essentially be running a 5x110 center bore with 5x114.3 bolt pattern.

I understand that bit, just curious about the center bore being a different size. Center bore on a 5x114.3 is 64.1, on 5x110 it's 65.1. So does that missing MM make a difference for mounting wheels?

Ah yes, look at the TC axles vs the SC ones. More flexible, and much beefier.

I believe John has a new bolt on kit for the lnf's. lsj's still suck haha

You will just need to get hub centric rings for the wheels you buy if you do the 5x114 conversion. The pattern won't affect the center bore. The redrill will still be centered around the center bore. Ill vouch for mongo. Does great work. He red filled my hubs and I've had them on almost a year now with no issues. I also have aftermarket wheels.

LNF model conversion

What if you have a Chevy Cobalt LNF. Can you just swap the grand am hub assembly's and be good to go? Or is there anything else used or needed...? Also with this hinder ABS?
