i have been on the H&r sports/ stock struts for almost a year. They ride great, and the look is okay, but too much rake in my opinion. Really wish the rears looked like goldlines or b&g springs

I got a base cobalt and wana drop it. Gonna be everyday driving. I know I want H&R springs but can't decide if sport or race drop. I wana be low low. But idk if its worth having race springs cuz they might be to stiff to drive on everyday?

Open to anyone's input, thanks

h/r race is a stiffer spring and actually a lesser drop on our cars..sport is the way to go, but get the right ones unlike me..lol...
honestly, after searching all the springs, none of them are great, some are okay, but coilovers is gonna be your best bet for the long run..plus the install is much easier

To the OP: how about YYZ v1 and v2? I know they're not considered lowering springs per se, being performance springs... But so are pedders, which are in your first post line up...

I measured H&R on our spring rate checker and they were softer than stock. What did you measure them on?

I always like to hear opinions about b&g's, im pretty sure I cant use them for 2 reasons.

1-Shitty reverse rake, and im not cutting springs

2-Axle bind with base automatic! cant get mounts.

I'm also curious to hear others experience with these springs, it's either the b&g's, h&r sports, or just buy coilovers.(looking for no fender gap)

Can anyone verify/measurements that the b&g's sit a tad lower then the h&r sports?

BUT b&g's sit lower in the rear, I think its shitty, id probably rather have h&r's because they sit even. But im going to have to buy ssc's because we will be taking the car to Florida next year with my kids, and we just cant have a spine readjusting ride

SSC's are higher quality and ride better for the extra $30-40 difference.
