Eibach Anti-Roll Sway Bar Set
Eibach Anti-Roll Sway Bar Set
I'm just wondering if anyone has actually installed this set before, and if so, how easy was it to do? I also read that they are tuneable...
From what I can tell, there isn't any how-to threads on this topic and if you've actually installed them, it would be greatly appreciated for a how-to and possibly some pics.
Thanks,
Joe

The Eibach bars are very nice, The front bar is a straight swap and the rear bar takes a little mounting work.
If you get them take it easy around corners until you get used to them.

Nice, I have the cash to buy them as soon as gravana gives the ok. I'm just wondering if I should install them myself or have it done professionally? I can do most mechanic type maintenance on my car, but when it comes to performance tuning I'm still learning...

the rear should be fairly easy to do
if the cobalts are like my cav is , the front will be a severe pain in the a$$ , droping the front sub frame is alot of work
but you should still be able to do the front bar in a few hours
but after droping the subframe i always recomend a alignment , cause nothing ever goes back in the same spot
so if you plan on droping the car id wait and do both the springs and bar at the same time , that way you only pay once for a alignment

IT IS POINTLESSS TO GET IF U HAVE AN SS SUPERCHARGED
The SS Superchargeds standard FE5 suspension features aluminum L-shaped front control arms, sport-tuned struts and a 24-mm direct-acting front stabilizer bar. The rear suspension has monotube shocks and a 22-mm stabilizer bar. Sport-tuned springs at all four corners help reduce lean during cornering and lower the car 10 mm, giving the SS Supercharged a more aggressive stance. The electric power steering system is tuned to provide more feedback and a sportier feel.

theres a link, rksport is throwing a deal on them, and no they currently arent out yet.
yes there is always room for increase. even on the ss s/c. if you look the bars are designed for all but ss s/c. ss s/c has larger swaybars. if anything for the none ss s/c guys i would look at gmpartsdirect or something and see how much oem front and rear swaybars go for on the ss s/c and put those on you'rs, then get some springs and shocks, and you got better handling then a stock ss s/c, if you have springs and matching shocks.
