Having YYZ while keeping ZZP resonator.

Does anyone have this combo? Will the ZZP resonator still have some clearance? I mean that huge resonator really hangs down there and i'm on stock FE1's. lol

My stock exhaust started to get all janky and had to replace it. I decided to get the full ZZP 2.5" exhaust. I like my car to sound deep(so cat, resonator, muffler). Sound is a preference think. After 11 months on the car the resonator started to have rattles at idle. As well as when engaging the clutch. I contacted them and it was covered under warranty. I was sent a brand new product. Now again it has started rattling. Even out of warranty ZZP claims they will send me a new one after i ship mine in. I think they have fixed the rattle issue now.

Summary: It is a great product. Gives the car a nice deep tone. Likes to pop/crackle

Always satisfied with ZZP products and customer service.

It is large but fits under the car nicely (fe3 suspension, on LE5 car)

Have never hit anything with it. Or bottomed the exhaust out .

Dont know how that will work for your setup but hope this helped.

Like if I had YYZ springs, will I still have clearance? Speaking of which, my ZZP res is starting to rattle at idle.

If it's hanging low then an exhaust hanger isn't connected correctly

I have MPx's cat-back on yyz's without issue going over large speed bumps. The resinator should not be hanging super low, its going to be lower than the unibody but not close to actually hitting the ground. Take a picture so we have an idea of how close yours actual is

Double check your exhaust hangers, but it doesn't look super low

Having YYZ while keeping ZZP resonator.

I'm dropped about 2 inches and my 3" MPX hangs pretty low but I've never had it hit anything. I've scraped my front mount more than once but never my exhaust.

I'm on Megan coil overs with a 3" ZZP catback including their resonator. I've lightly scraped it here and there but so far so good lol. Speed bumps I take at an angle though.
