Help with stance coilovers
Hey all... so I installed one side of my coilover (left front) all I had time for.. but I never touched the upper collars as the manual and everything I've read says not to.. so left that as it was I turned the base of the strut all the way up... (would figure full low) but I still have a finger and a half gap... my lowering springs I had 2 finger so only maybe anot her inch drop.... I have included some pictures as well... shouldn't I be able to go lower then this I don't want much maybe another inch if possible... any help wI'll be appreciated thanks

the reason you dont touch the adjustment collars under the spring is so you dont reduce the struts travel. however being you want the tire to pretty much touch the fender lip you wont have any room for the suspension to travel, so i cant see any harm in adjusting the collars under the spring.

I've adjusted the upper collars to get more thread pitch... but the higher I go doesn't seem like it's getting any lower... maybe it's my tire/wheel combo... I'm running a 225/40r18 on a 9 inch wide wheel... so maybe it is full low just doesn't look it because it prob more like me running a 35 profile tire with it streched

also another question... how many turns is it to make a difference??? seems like I have to do 10 full rotations of the base to get any drastic change in height
