i had 3 sets of springs already ...hence i had 2 sedan cobalts....i had eibach, zenn, now riding on tenzo's....and zenn was by far the lowest...the only two that are lower i thought were h&r... and b&g being the lowest
#79
bags are gonna be the only slammed cars and there arent very many of them. springs and coilovers will just lower the car w/o an aftermarket body kit

Haz l33t wheelz.
mine are at like 4 1/2" on the side skirts, the underside of the car itself is more like 6"

lawl, you are not an ls either with 17s and low pro tires, thats why i have wheel gap, if i had bigger tires and rims i would fill the wheel gap, but i would also raise the car off the ground....you are epic fail
also, i never said im the lowest, i said im the lowest around here...stop trying to make yourself feel better by twisting my words
and you can disagree all you want, but that doesnt make you any less of an *******
my point exactly,
i never said the s2k was not slammed...but i did say that it is retaredly slammed for a dd
if i cant get in and out of a simple parking lot...then the car has no business being on the road and has then defied the point...

are you retarded? so i have bigger tires and im lower? i have 17s and low pros just like you.. shutup with your stupid lawl talk what is that some 12 year old girl ****. cut it out man your wrong.

lawl lawl lawl lawl lawl lawl...kiss my ass
anywho, there are two sides to every story, and again, until you drive your lazy ass to wa and compare side to side, then we just need to agree to disagree cause we can argue all day who is right and wrong...but we all know, arguing on the internet is like racing in reverse...

and yea slammed is related to the chassis...so that is why my car is abut 4 1/2's from the ground at the chassis...
if your car is scraping you need to learn how to drive a lowered car...and for the most part wheel size has nothing to do with wheel gap....b/c your overall diameter should be nearly that same...

scraping sometimes cant be helped, if your lowered this far, any speedbump, or decent driveway, pothole, or sharp crest in the road can be scraped on, and if there isnt a way around it then your fucked...nothing about being able to drive lol
also, i am damned low
but you dont own a cobalt anywho, so what do you know about low cobalts

uh how will overall diameter not be nearly the same?? if you decide to go up on youroverall diameter have fun with your speedo and your all-around performance falling off...
and your right scraping sometimes cant be avoided but i can pull into a 50º driveway with no problem and my cars front bumper is 4" off the ground...
and if you are "damned low" then you need to post another picture because your last one is NOT low...
and i did own a cobalt that was lower than yours is...and i had no problems with it...
also my current tc is super low...and im sure it is no different driving it slammed as it is driving a low cobalt

well first off, a dd tucking tire is retarded, your now in the all show no go category
and i know my speedo and all that was off...but that is what tuning is for...overall diameter is going to be DRASTICALLY different depending on wheel and tire selection. a 20" rim with 225/45/20 will be a HELL of alot bigger (giving less tire gap but raising the car off the ground as well) then a 17" rim with 205/40/17 on them...we are talking at least a 2" difference!!! in both height from the center of the hub to the ground (raising hte frame 2") and pushing into the wheel well 2" further
what you all are saying, is if i go custom fab up a REALLLLY tall bumper, and put my car back to stock height, but the plastic bumper is 1" off the ground, then i am "slammed"
same goes with putting airbags on and then saying your slammed, well ya, but you cant drive while laying the frame on the ground either....
no one here an no one anywhere can say "this is the formal definition of slammed"...its diff for every car, every model (diff lip kits and bumpers) and every wheel and tire combo....its all in the individuals definition of what they believe slammed to be,
if and when i get a chance, ill take a pic of how low my frame is to the ground because its very apparent that most of you dont understand simple math and geometry

what size tires are you running???
and this car can go anywhere...it can turn full lock to lock...and can outhandle a whole lot of cars on backroads...and will be auto-crossed this season so how have i ruined a DD???? i also DD it and have no problems anywhere....no matter how many passengers i have...
and my car isnt all show no go...it isnt either....its an economy car that i have built to suit my taste....and it isnt finished....and it will be turbo'd...
im not saying your bumer dictates your slammed status....it is the lowest point of the car period...and my front bumper is not much longer than a cobalt bumper...

and going from a 205/40/17 to a 225/45 is only going to increase your over all diameter 1.43"...so your radius will be change 3/4 of an inch...
