Lowering Springs install help
alright guys, I have an 06 cobalt. 2.2 sedan, and i need some cheap lowering springs. the stock ride height is ugly as hell. the last time i bought springs, they didn't even fit on the strut, they were some knockoff brand. what is a nice, cheap brand i can get some springs with a nice drop?

Exactly ^ and you really never want to cheap out on any car part tends to come back and you end up spending more in the end. If you want to go lower you can always get Fe5 springs (stock for the LNF) and get better handling and a tad lower than the springs you have now

They will lower your trim height, and can be generally purchased for less than cheapy lowering springs.
The Cobalt SS/TC (08-10) FE5 springs have a few mm lower trim height than Cobalt SS/SC (05-07) FE5 springs, plus better spring rates.

dude if you want to slam a beater with 300k just cut the springs! or buy Lotek's on ebay for $75. If you have the money a better id I to buy SSC springs from zzperformance.com for like $220, also theres road magnet springs for the same about the same money. Those would be a good bet.

I have put the Eibach Pro Kit on just about every damn car I have ever owned, or at least every car I have owned with Eibach support. For some, drunken, reason I purchased the LoTek springs and didnt remember. They showed up and I pursued to install them. Now I have only had them on since Thursday but they drop nice and I dont have any of the horrors of vibration.... yet.
Ill report back to the board in a few months when they really settle but at first glance, GREAT ****.
