New Design Moog Control Arm Bushings
#2
I have them in my FE3 aluminum control arms. I paid around $80 for the pair from Advanced Auto. They didn't have them in stock, so I ordered them from the website and they were delivered in a couple of days.
You have to have a press to install them into the control arm; I used a huge socket (I think it was a 2.5" socket) to press the bushing into the control arm.
I've only had them for a couple thousand miles, so I can't really say much about the longevity of them. However, they have some sort of a lifetime warranty.

They seem to be fine. I installed them about a month ago, and have put 2000 miles on them since. My stock bushings were shot for a LONG time, so it is hard for me to know how these compare to good OEM bushings. They are a solid bushing that allows for axial rotation, so you don't get the deflection of rubber bushings when cornering. Because of their solid nature, you might feel the road more, but I can't quantify that.

I don't mind doing it cause I've done it many times. I had tried Powell's and his is the best 1. I have OTTP CAB in right now and the rubber piece has split open and making clunk noise if I am on really bumpy roads. I am willing to try Moog new design CAB, it doesn't hurt to try them out. Then I will know how long they last, Powell CAB last 2 1/2 years no problems, OTTP CAB only last 1 year but I will have it replace since OTTP said life time warranty. Now I am gonna try MOOG new design CAB and see how long will it last.
