SSC/CM lowering springs

I know there are a billion threads on this but none of them answer ny question. I have an 08 TC and was wanting to lower it. On the CM website they have two different sets of springs, one for the base and one for the SS. The base ones say it will drop it 2inches in the front and 1.5inches in the back and the SS will drop 1inch in the front and 1.5inches in the back. My question is would the base model springs fit on a TC because to me a 1inch drop is not a lot for the front. How does the rear look with the 1.5 drop because on stock springs I can't bear to look at them LOL. Any help/pictures would be greatly appreciated. Hoe do they look and ride?

Thanks

because the ss has different shocks/struts and already sit lower then the LS so it doesnt drop the SS that much. all cobalt suspension fits all cobalts

It should be the same spring, there is no difference in fitment between the base and SS.

They ride pretty much the same as stock.

fixed. The Struts don't affect ride height

yes, but struts affect rebound, springs affect compression.

Ive ran mine for 5+ years on 2 different cobalts. Absolutly love them. Best spring for the price. I now have some B&Gs as i want more low without going coil overs. I will be selling these SSCs cheap.

My 2009 SS

My old 2005 LS Sedan (yes its fast its turbocharged )

Clean clean car! Has anyone else noticed that the right rear is higher then the left and the right front is lower then the left front? Or is it just me.

^ I'm talking about a stock cobalts suspension.

That looks great. That's exactly what I want. It seems to me it looks like some people get more drop on theirs than others do on the same springs or it may be due to the picture angle. Do you have the part number by chance?

That's the only part number they have on their website... I'm sorry for all the novice questions and what not but I'm new to the suspension components area.

The ones I posted a link to. Buy the cobalt ones since you have the cobalt. Not the ion ones, not the hhr ones.

I too want to go a little lower, how do you like the B&Gs, I was considering H&Rs and Rissa seems to like them.

So I just need to make a decision and go.
