I'm sure they will, just maxed my car budget for the month tho. Also will need to reserve some dyno time to make the comparison, since no one believes any other method

If I still had my local dyno I would spend the time to do a good comparrison. Now, I need to drive 1.5 hrs to get on the dyno.

All I can provided for my proof are my back to back runs logging MAF lbs/min & supercharger inlet pressure, and my review after driving both setups!

Nice, bummer on having to drive 1.5h. My dyno is closer, I will just have to rent it out for a few hours. I'm also tempted to grab a Magnahelic Differential Pressure gauge from work for the inlet pressure difference and log it via Hptuners (love the 0-5v inputs)

My old dyno was 15 mins from me

Keep me posted on your findings.

I looked into those, but it was slightly smaller than my factory lsj filter so it wouldnt fit my box properly.

Oh wow. I always thought Wix was superior to AC Delco, at least with their oil filters. I might have to switch back to AC now

Would it be bad to throw the stock intake on when I am tuned to the K&N?

Bad? Nah, might skew your parameters a bit, but nothing serious.

I'm staying with NAPA/Wix. Their Gold oil filters look way better than the AC's when taking them out of the engine after the change oil message comes on.

Honestly you could probably run it without a filter and be fine for 200k lol

The intake is fine. The sound makes it more than worth it.

No actually K&N is just fine. I'm on GMS1 with K&N and filter wrap and the fuel trims are decent. 0-+2

X2. Even with just an air box mod, one winter in ny was enough to make me put it back to stock.

After seeing how much dirt my K&N filter wrap gets I'm not real worried about it anymore.

You would be ok with my airbox mod. I still have the bottom of the box on.

So I went back to stock airbox with the mod, and a new stock AC filter.

I haven't noticed any real difference (minus the sound), except that I'm getting worse mileage than with the AEM SRI.

Im getting roughly 1.5 less mpg now.... not a huge deal, but definitely noticeable!

I increased my mileage with my airbox setup, and def felt a vast improvement over the sad ass Injen intake I used to have.

I also had the AEM intake. It is the same thing as running a modifed airbox. Just much more expensive.

I felt more power while running the factory ac delco than the K&N drop in filter. My car made 299.45whp with the factory filter.
