Yup pretty much domestic Vtec technology. I thought the idea of a variable flow oil pump was a pretty neat idea, however I hope when the solenoid that controls it goes bad it goes to full flow otherwise I see alot of these engines coming in needing to be rebuilt due to bad oil pressure control solenoids.

Good article, only knock I keep hearing on DI is deposits on the valves. But I bet the throttle response is insane.

I think Toyota uses dual injection. Multiport plus di. Supposed to help keep valves clean.

have you seen a dyno sheet of a stock frs tho? crazy dip in power when it switches over

No idea on the FRS motor but it's on the new Tundra.

cool I'll have to check that out. DI is interesting to me cuz its new technology. I saw zzp sells a DI kit for cobalts but that's no where practical or affordable for me.
