I'm just wondering if I could take their tune and flash it on mine, assuming both cars are bolt ons and premium gas...Or is that just asking for trouble? I have HP pro and an Autometer Cobalt Wideband AFR gauge. Just need to pony up for remote tune I guess. I kinda got out of modding for a while. Sold a whole bunch of stuff so I'm back to just N/A and bolt ons, but I have some other sweet toys.

This. Once you get your MAF table(s) tuned the tedious stuff is out of the way. I'd love to have a vvt engine to optimize the cam tables on but most NA tunes I've seen have stock cam tables. It's mostly just earlier PE, more aggressive spark timing, and deleting some torque management. Also trans if you are auto.

Manual trans, and I wouldn't be wasting any credits. I have all Cobalts unlocked. I got a sweet deal when I bought it (used). I'll have to look into getting someone to tune me. Maybe I'll pick up a 2 stage direct inject nitrous kit with bottle warmer, valve opener, purge kit, and rpm window/tps sensor. I've always wanted to try nitrous. Either that or get another TVS, but I'd rather get a newer car with LNF if I'm going to put that kinda money into it. I see KW came out with Variant 2's for the Cobalt. I had Variant 3's waiting to be installed on my Focus when I sold it and bought the SS. <3 KW.
