A Cobalt SS Owner is Offering to Tune My SS/TC w/ HPT for $50. Too Good To Be True?

Yeah i already have that year unlocked on hpt. If i had to unlock it i would need to charge at least $100 more. That is why i was giving him that deal, plus i know the lnf like the back of my hand so to me its just fun to tune a stock car and see how the owner reacts when it feels like a whole new car. Sorry if i offened anyone i was simply trying to defend myself from all the skeptics, and i understand why. I would still do that deal for anyone in the area, but its not how i make my income. Like i said not trying to make money from tuning. Anyone that has been to my house would see why. I think im done with the cobalt world again, good luck to everyone with their cars.

Well I just thought id jump in here since I was just tuned by brycerice13 this past weekend, & can tell you he knows his ****, I am completely happy & satisfied with my tune & with the power its making now, he took his time to make sure everything was done right, I know if I ever get anything else done that requires my car to get retuned I'd go back to him, & besides his tuning abilities he was an overall cool dude. I will be getting my car dyno'd soon & will share my result on here, id just thought id post a small review right now for those still in doubt

Copy paste tune. Unfortunately he's been proving to not know nearly as much as he thinks he does, or at least tried to lead on. Not trying to bash the kid, but to claim he knows the platform like the back of his hand is not only excessively bold, but it's pretty flat out incorrect.

Only the people that I have tuned can attest to the fact that I take my time and I create a custom tune, not a copy and paste tune. But I don't know why you have a hard on for me, and bashing everything I say. Personally I think your just jealous that I have came back on this site after almost a year, and your not the only one on here that knows how to tune.

Got me bud. Please oh please teach me. Maybe then, will I learn the lnf like the back of my hand like you have. Then I can also be like you and give out terrible advice to people. Then I can talk to folks (not to their fault) who might not necessarily know any better, and come across to them as knowing a whole bunch about these cars, yet thinks setting a neutral limiter is launch control AND a 2step. Only can I strive to be that good. My jealousy runs deep my friend.

I never said setting the neutral limiter is launch control. Please quote me and show everyone where I said this? I said someone out there has used some method to edit the launch control. You said there is no way to do it in HP tuners. I even found the username of the guy that did it.
