Looking for parts advice

I have a 2008 Cobalt LS 2.2L Ecotec. I want to get at least 250 hp out of the car. Not really looking to get more than 300 hp because I don't intend on racing it, just for car shows. What parts should I get to increase the hp to 250-300 without running the risk of blowing the engine?

A supercharger kit with a safe tune can get you there, plus it looks good and you can always pulley down for more power. But honestly 250-300whp is pushing it on the stock motor.

Thats why I am looking for additional parts such as heads, camshaft, pistons and etc to strengthen the engine prior to dropping in an sc/tc. Which by the way, the 2.2L ecotec only have an sc upgrade kit or is there a tc upgrade kit available out there for it?

i know you won't listen, but this really is the best advice anyone can give you: Buy an LNF, goal reached. hell, even getting an LSJ and adding a few mods is way better than trying to bring that 2.2 up.
Just my 2 cents
