Trifecta tuning still in business?

I am trying to purchase a minor retune from Trifecta tuning and they have been nearly completely unresponsive. Are they still tuning cars regularly or have they exited this business?

I guess I might just be impatient but I've had a ticket open on the forum for a week with no response.

EDIT: They have not always been unresponsive. When I purchased my original tune it was a very quick and great experience.

EDIT #2: My vehicle is not support: 05-10 Chevy Cobalt 2.0, 2.2, 2.4 (05-06 2.2 Not Supported)

Hmm, they did not complete my original request in the tune file they sent and have not responded to my ticket. I am quite unhappy now.

Why not call or email them directly?

I have tried. They specifically say they will not call customers over the phone, they only communicate through email when you call. I have support tickets open but they don't seem to be getting looked at.

This sucks. I don't want to spend a **** ton for HP so trifecta would really be the only way but **** this seems to happen too much. For every one guy who gets good service you have ten others who are forgotten about.

That's what happens when you use a system that only one person can use. He maybe busy with other platforms or he may have given up on cobalts, or maybe he gave it up all together. You had to know at some point in time that you would not be able to tune through him anymore. It might be time to bite the bullet and use a system that can be accessed by by anyone with hpt

Like I said, originally I had a good experience, but now, not so much

All of that may very well be true. My car (2006 Chevy Cobalt LS) cannot be tuned through HPT though, it is and will remain unsupported. Trifecta is my only option. I am looking to go back to a mostly stock state as I want to trade the vehicle. Since I tried to start this process early February and its the last week of February, I am unhappy.

What even more frustrating is that I only need my rear o2 sensor turned off at this point.. No custom parts or anything like that.. Sigh..

Vince is still in business - his workload, and an unwritten priority system that he's got sometimes means that emails take a while to be replied to...

Who did you buy your tune through?
If you bought from a dealer, I'd first go to them - they can datalog, and simply send it in for an update (if Vince deems that there will be enough changes to warrant an upcharge, he would tell your dealer BEFORE doing the tune).

Their orders are now being orchastrated through WOT Tuning's website;
Popular products

You might get a quicker responce by contacting someone there, as Vince for the past while had been facing at times, a giant workload - he's pioneered many tunes aside from those for our platform...

I hope this helps!

EDIT:
I just looked on WOT's site, and it looks like they're setup for updates - but I didn't click anything.

EDIT 2:
I just noticed this;

Why it is anything other than FIFO is irrelevant to me, I have paid.

I bought it from Vince through the old Trifecta ordering system. Now I can't really talk to him, I have to wait to be ignore by Mr. Weller.

You obviously haven't dealt with Trifecta lately.... You can pretty much only be on perpetual ignore with the ticketing system. I've called 2 twice already, no acknowledgement either time.

It doesn't spit a tune out though, you have to wait for as long as they decide it should take for the tune file.

Your not the only one that's had issues with Trifecta, I'm a trifecta dealer and even I can't help out the customer much since they only communicate exclusively with emails. It took almost one month just to get a customers tune right and even longer with his E85 tune. I can understand the work load Vince has to go through since I'm sure he's expanded to the Chevy Cruz's etc. Feel like HP is only way to go at this point in time unless you like waiting for 2 weeks before getting any response back :/

I'll just keep calling and creating new tickets every hour. If they wish to waste my time, I am going to waste theirs.

They dont delete rear o2's anymore. It is up to the end user to delete the codes for this. I know Vince has some big projects on his hands. He is also trying to train other people to use the software and write tunes. I know Steven is officially writing them now. Not sure if he plans on anyone else. Try contacting them at there direct emails. Thats how i get my response when its not working in my favor.

It took a couple months and multiple attempts to get my base tune file back.

Went HPT and love my car now.

I finally got my deposit back for the e flash cable. I sent it and USPS explained it was delivered on the 5th of March. Sent an email and created a support ticket explaining I hadn't gotten the deposit back yet. No responses..Suddenly after I filed a Paypal claim the money showed up with a reason for the delay.

I emailed Vince in January. This entire transaction (which they never completed my tune request either BTW, traded my cobalt in with a MIL on) took 65 days for simple responses, a simple tune, and more simple responses. This is terrible. I had to make multiple tickets and PM Vince on the forum to get the ball rolling. I wonder if they believe if this is acceptable service? I will never buy from Trifecta tuning again. I will also not recommend them, and if at all possible steer anyone who is interested in a Trifecta tune away from a terrible experience.
